Zimbabwe owes US$807 to the World bank

The World Bank is the world's largest lender to the nations. The other lenders are the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the African Development Bank (AfDB), and the Paris Club.

 Zimbabwe's debt to the World Bank has been one of the major causes of our slowly economic excellence among other various reasons.

"Zimbabwe is in arrears to both the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and International Development Association (IDA) to the tune of US$807 million," Biti said.

According to the Zimbabwean, Biti said that the debt needs to be cleared first before the World Bank can resume extending its hand and assisting the nation.
